Nickelodeon Pitch

As exhibitors at The Small Press Expo (SPX) – North America’s premiere independent cartooning and comic arts festival – we had the opportunity to pitch a 2-3 minute Woozle and Lorax animated short to Nickelodeon in September of 2015!

Below is our first ever script for Woozle and Lorax, and is the exact material that we pitched to Nickelodeon. “Car Show Calamities” was well-received by the Nickelodeon animation development team we met with at SPX. Nickelodeon loved the idea that we are comic creators from New Mexico, and that our characters are little green aliens.

While we ultimately didn’t make the cut with “Car Show Calamities”, it was a huge step in the right direction, and the invaluable lessons we learned along the way will undoubtedly contribute to our follow-up scripts and pitches. Watch out Nickelodeon, we have plenty more pies in the oven!
